Frequently Asked Questions
-
The overall goal of the game is to advance yourself and, later on your clan, to be top of the heap on Whiskey Mountain by outgrowing, outselling, and generally outranking all the other mountain folk, while avoiding or, better yet, fighting and running off the nosy police and FBI.
-
Your Job is the role you play in the Whiskey Mountain society. Different Jobs have different requirements and confer different benefits, but they all offer the same chance of advancement above and beyond your competitors.
-
Ultimately, that decision is entirely up to you. However, it's a good idea to read through the job descriptions to see what Job Skills are available for each before you decide. You might also want to consider what benefits a particular Job can provide later on if you join a Clan.
-
Only one Job is available per person at this point. Options will be available later on for Job change by using Game Coins.
-
Willpower and other resources used in the game refresh at different rates, and the first two clocks show when your resources and Will Power will increase. The third clock tells you what time it is in the game.
-
The picture next to your Character Attributes is your Avatar, and it's customizable. You can find items to change how you look on sale in the Trading Post.
-
Resources are used for a variety of things.Corn and Bottles are used to make Whiskey. Will Power is used to do Quests to get experience to level up so you can do your job quests to increase your skills.
-
As a starting character, you get one automatic Job Point to spend on a Job Skill. You will receive more Job Points througout the game by completing Job Quests and advancing in your Job Level. The opportunity to complete a Job Quest becomes available once for every regular Levels you advance.
-
Attribute Points are points earned through increasing your Level by completing Quests. When you go up a Level, you get some Attribute Points automatically added to certain Attributes, and you also receive three "free" Attribute Points to spend as you like, in order to increase those Attributes you feel are most important to your character.
